About the event
Pontoon Salsa Thursdays brings the energy of Sydney’s Latin dance community to Darling Harbour every week. Organised by Go Dance Sydney in collaboration with Pontoon Bar, this popular weekly event is one of the best places in Sydney to dance Salsa and Bachata by the water.
The night starts with a Salsa and Bachata class at 7:30pm led by instructors from Go Dance Sydney, welcoming both beginners and experienced dancers.
From 8:30pm the dance floor opens with a rotating lineup of guest DJs alongside resident DJ Rafael Rojas, playing a mix of Salsa and Bachata all night in a 2 Salsa : 2 Bachata format.
With harbour views, a vibrant crowd and a welcoming atmosphere, Pontoon Salsa Thursdays is the perfect place to learn, practice and enjoy Latin music in the heart of Sydney.
