Official Dance Grading (August)

At Go Dance, we offer Intermediate and Advanced dance levels that are divided into graded categories. To be eligible for these classes, students need to successfully complete a friendly Dance Grading assessment.

Here's how the process works:

1. Intermediate Level Grading:

• Time: 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
• Details: Students who wish to grade for the Intermediate level can participate and attend the first week of Intermediate lessons.
• Instructor Involvement: During the class, the instructors will closely observe your performance and movements. They will also be available to help you with the dance moves being taught.
• Assessment: At the end of the class, the instructors will evaluate your performance.
• Result Notification: You will receive an email containing your grading results before the following weeks lesson.

2. Advanced Level Grading:

• Time: 8:30 pm - 10:00 pm
• Details: Students aiming for the Advanced level can join and attend the first week of Advanced lessons.
• Instructor Involvement: The instructors will pay close attention to your participation and dance skills during the class. They will provide assistance with the dance routines being taught.
• Assessment: After the class concludes, the instructors will assess how well you performed.
• Result Notification: You will receive an email containing your grading results before the following weeks lesson.

In summary, Go Dance offers graded Intermediate and Advanced dance classes. To be a part of these classes, students must pass a Dance Grading assessment, which costs $25.00. For both Intermediate and Advanced levels, you attend the first week of classes, and your instructors will evaluate your performance and send you an email with the results the next day. This process allows dancers to progress to higher levels based on their demonstrated dance skills.
